As a Maintenance Electrical Technician you will be working within a team who are responsible for the delivery of Electrical, Controls and Instrumentation works within a power generation location. Whilst, not on call, the individual should be flexible to work out of hours to meet the demands of the business when required.
Tasks will include:
You will need to possess experience & knowledge of industrial electrical systems and a basic understanding of process control and instrumentation. Candidates will require BTEC ONC Electrical/Electronic, 17th Edition Regs and C&G 2394 & 2395. COMPEX trained and C&G 2391 are preferred but not essential. Also you will need to be a competent user of IT, Specifically Microsoft suite of Software, Excel, Word and Outlook.
Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
Strong knowledge of industrial LV electrical systems
Experience or knowledge of HV systems advantageous
Sound knowledge and experience of:- Actuators, Motors, Switchgear, Electrical protection systems, Generators, Inverters and Battery chargers, Site earthing and PAT testing.
The role is 40 hours per week full time, required training will be provided and future progression within the company is encouraged. Pay range is from £16.00 to £18.50 per hour + Company Van, dependant on experience.
