We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Technician to join our Water Networks Business Unit. As Installations Electrical Technician you will be working within a team who are responsible for the delivery of installations of flow, level and pressure instruments across the water network infrastructure.

Tasks will include:

  • Installation and commissioning of instrumentation on water network infrastructure
  • Electrical inspection and testing and completion of Electrical test certificates
  • Installation of electrical containment
  • Commissioning of new instrumentation output signals to customer in-house SCADA systems including 4-20mA loop and pulse outputs
  • Installation and Commissioning of Telemetry loggers
  • Use of Manufactures diagnostic tools via PC on newly installed and existing instrumentation

You will need to possess experience & knowledge of electrical installations and a basic understanding of process control and instrumentation. Candidates with BTEC ONC Electrical/Electronic, 17th Edition Regs and C&G 2394 & 2395 are preferred but not essential. Also you will need to be a competent user of IT, Specifically Microsoft suite of Software, Excel, Word and Outlook.

The role is 40 hours per week full time, required training will be provided and future progression within the company is encouraged. Pay range is from £16.00 to £18.50 per hour + Company Van, dependant on experience.
