We’re always on the lookout for keen and interested potential Z-Techers, and in 2018 we are looking to recruit three Instrumentation and Control Apprentices with providers in either Cambridge, Kingston, Rochester or Peterborough.

We’re always on the lookout for keen and interested potential Z-Techers, and in 2018 we are looking to recruit three advanced engineering Apprentices with providers in either Cambridge, Rochester of Peterborough.

Instrumentation and Control Technicians are at a national shortage, as such, it’s a great career to train in. You’ll learn engineering skills, the ability to programme devices, electrical principles, instal and commission technical instruments.

Z-Tech Control Systems work in Rail, Power and Water Industries, we are rapidly expanding.

As a Z-Tech apprentice you will move around the different areas of the business, learning new skills and developing within the industry. We normally work on three block placements of 6 weeks in college and the rest of the time on the job – though the true structure of the course changes each year depending on the intake and college availability.

To join, you’ll need five GCSEs, including Maths and English, at grade C or above. You should be able to demonstrate excellent IT, communication, and time-management skills, along with a commitment to learning.
