Job reference: 1130 - Control and Instrumentation Technician

Are you a Control & Instrumentation Technician who is looking to progress and learn, or enhance your knowledge of control systems, instrumentation and plc fault-finding?

We looking for candidates who have experience within Control & Instrumentation and for candidates who are starting out and looking for more experience.

Responsible for the delivery of preventative maintenance of controls and instrumentation on a range of client sites including:

Attending to any reactive/corrective maintenance of control, instrumentation and other associated equipment;
Carrying out fault finding and investigation of faults, recording findings if necessary;
Completing any required repairs/replacements/calibration to instruments and equipment as required.
Time served apprenticeship supported by relevant formal qualifications. E.g. City and Guilds, BTEC, ONC/HNC/HND/Australian/New Zealand Qualifications or equivalent.
Some experience of process control and electrical systems
Some experience of working with and understanding of PLCs.
Knowledge of working with communication protocols.
Experience in calibration and maintenance of front line instrumentation and good understanding of relay logic and ability to maintain and repair.
