Job reference: 1131 - Logging Technician

Z-Tech is a fast growing company with a modern HQ in Swavesey near Cambridge and a busy office in East London.

We are currently recruiting for 2 Logging Technician to join our Water Networks Business Unit. This is a great opportunity to join a professional, forward thinking and focused team who thrive on challenges facing the Water Sector.

Ideally you shall have previously worked within the Water Industry and have experience with reading schematics, maps and different data logging equipment. Onsite training shall be offered to those individuals with adaptable skill sets so will also suit if you are looking for a change of direction.

Duties will include:

  • Installation and maintenance of a wide range of data loggers and associated equipment.
  • Temporary flow monitoring.
  • Report completion including mobile app and Health & Safety.
  • Reading of maps and schematics.
  • Completing works to deadlines.
  • Maintaining company standards and adhering to procedures.

Experience and Skills:

  • Previously worked in the water industry.
  • EUSR Certificates.

Personal Attributes:

  • Team player as well as able to work under own initiative, flexible, motivated, organised, professional and reliable.

Salary: £9.50-£11.00 per hour negotiable dependent upon experience and formal qualifications, plus company pension.

Location: This is a mobile field technician role and you shall be required to drive a company vehicle to attend various customer sites and assets. Predominantly our work is in the London and Thames Valley region although you may be required to work further afield from time to time.
