Z-Tech is a fast growing company with a modern HQ in Swavesey near Cambridge and a busy office in East London. We are an up-beat, lively organisation and hold regular social events. It is essential that potential new recruits are pro-active.

This is a new key administrative role for us. We are looking for a super-star Executive Assistant who is an accomplished juggler with the all-round administrative skills to support our Executive and Commercial teams as they lead the business through a period of rapid growth.

It’s a refreshingly diverse role that will develop further as the business grows but some of the key tasks will include;

  • Supporting the Operations Director in management and drumbeat of company KPIs
  • Supporting the Commercial Team in bids and tender submissions
  • Supporting the Commercial Director in management of the Z-Tech brand
  • Managing administrative projects and providing admin support for the Executive team.
  • Supporting the Management team to build and maintain good internal relationships across our operation.

About you

Of graduate calibre, you’ll bring relevant experience: It’s not essential that you understand our business, but you must understand the importance of getting on with people, be they colleagues or customers, in order to get things done.  On top of that, an aptitude for independent research and report writing would be very useful – as would a legal background.

Because you’ll be joining a close-knit team, it’s your personal qualities that matter most. Self-motivated and unflappable, you’ve shown you’re thoroughly reliable and highly trustworthy. What you'll have done:

  • Strong administrative skills, your Outlook and Office skills will be second to none
  • You will have worked in a fast paced environment
  • You’ll be used to supporting a wider team not just one person
  • You’ll have made events happen (organised internal events for employees or external customer events)
  • You could have worked Marketing, Legal or as an Executive PA
  • You will have some creative writing experience or a passion for the spoken and written word.

Hours and salary negotiable for the right candidate.
