Job reference: 1143 - Control and Instrumentation Supervisor

Z-Tech currently have an exciting opportunity for a Control and Instrumentation Supervisor to join our growing Projects Business based at our London office in Canning Town, occasionally working from our Swavesey office near Cambridge.

The right candidate will be responsible for the technical supervision of the C&I team and is expected to be field capable to deliver a varied range of projects. These will include planned, reactive and preventative maintenance of controls and instrumentation on a range of client sites.

We have some of the best technicians, therefore you will need knowledge and experience in all or some of the following:

  • Proven experience supervising technicians
  • A good knowledge of project management delivery
  • Flow, Level, Temperature & Pressure instruments.
  • Electrical certifications or experience
  • D.O.L, Star Delta, Soft Start & Inverter Drives.
  • Fault finding of control automation circuits and equipment
  • Analysers and probes, such as ammonia, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, pH, phosphate, redox, turbidity.
  • Installation and fault finding of PLC code / SCADA.
  • Knowledge of Profibus, SCADA and Telemetry would be beneficial.
  • Read and work from P&ID, circuit/ loop diagrams, schematics and process drawings.

You will need to possess experience & knowledge of industrial processes, preferable in the water industry. Also you will have experience & knowledge of relevant technical standards and be a competent user of IT, specifically the Microsoft suite of software.

The role is 40 hours per week full time, required training will be provided and future progression within the company is encouraged. The role is mobile and a vehicle is provided, with client locations based throughout London and the South East.

Salary: Up to £45K depending on experience and knowledge.
