Location: Cambridge/ Peterborough or Rochester We’re always on the lookout for keen and interested potential Z-Techers, and in 2018 we are looking to recruit three Instrumentation and Control Apprentices with providers in either Cambridge, Rochester of Peterborough.
If you have a proactive approach to learning, and want to be part of a rapidly expanding company, then we want to hear from you.
Instrumentation and Control Technicians are at a national shortage, as such, it’s a great career to train in. You’ll learn engineering skills, the ability to programme devices, electrical principles, install and commission technical instruments.

As a Z-Tech apprentice you will move around the different areas of the business, learning new skills and developing within the industry. We normally work on three block placements of 6 weeks in college and the rest of the time on the job – though the true structure of the course changes each year depending on the intake and college availability.
To join, you’ll need five GCSEs, including Maths and English, at grade C or above. You should be able to demonstrate excellent IT, communication, and time-management skills, along with a commitment to learning.
In return, we offer our full support throughout the programme, plus a salary that increases as you progress.
To be considered for the positions, please send a maximum 2 page CV, and a covering letter telling us why you would make a great Z-Techer.
