Mick’s Insight

I’m lucky to have been to several really outstanding Z-Tech events and site visits since the last enewz, so thanks to all who have put up with me on site / accepted my bribe of buying the breakfasts.

The series of Water Industry knowledge exchange events that we are currently running in conjunction with the Institute of Water are something that I am particularly proud of. The most recent was hosted by our ATEX Business Unit and dealt with Hazardous Area Compliance – an area where the UK Water Industry is rapidly playing catch up when compared to other sectors in which Z-Tech operate.

It always feels good to be able to share knowledge and expertise, especially in an area as critical as this. And the speakers that agreed to participate were amazing – the very best of the best. It takes quite a lot of time and effort to arrange this sort of event, but they have gone down so well that we plan to continue to run this format – perhaps every six months or so.

We already have a theme for the next one, another delicate issue (for all sectors!) so please look out for that and hope to see you there.

  • "Z-Tech has proven a professional and technical approach to delivery on our automation projects. This has resulted in a long-term business relationship built upon good service, project delivery and trust."

    Philip Smith, Johnson Matthey PLC

  • "The customer focus and flexibility of Z-Tech makes it easy for a water utility to deal with. When we have a large and complex programme to deliver, planning every detail can be a challenge. Working with Z-Tech means that we can maintain delivery, knowing that resources are available to pick up the loose ends."
